Mary Pugsley is a multidisciplinary artist and pottery teacher based in Fairfax, Virginia. She began her creative practice as a painter and ceramicist and later expanded her work into animation and video art. She holds a BFA in Kinetic Imaging from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Her work draws inspiration from bodies of water, geology, emotional experiences, cartoons, travel, and the rhythms of the natural world, exploring the connections between memory, movement, and the environment.
