Description:
This four-week series meets every Tuesday at 4 p.m., with a break during Thanksgiving week. Each two-hour class is led by one of our instructors, who will teach kids the fundamentals of handbuilding through a different technique and pottery project each week. During the final class, students will glaze all their pieces. Finished pottery will be ready for pickup approximately two weeks after the series ends.
Week 1 — November 3: Handprint Turkey (sculpture)
Week 2 — November 10: Mug (pinch pot)
Week 3 — November 17: Name Wall Sign (slab)
November 24: Thanksgiving break—no class
Week 4 — December 1: Glazing
