Description:
This four-week series meets every Wednesday at 10 a.m., with a break during Thanksgiving week. Each two-hour class is led by one of our instructors, who will teach kids the fundamentals of handbuilding through a different technique and pottery project each week. During the final class, students will glaze all their pieces. Finished pottery will be ready for pickup approximately two weeks after the series ends.
Week 1 — November 4: Handprint Turkey (sculpture)
Week 2 — November 11: Mug (pinch pot)
Week 3 — November 18: Name Wall Sign (slab)
November 25: Thanksgiving break—no class
Week 4 — December 2: Glazing
