Description:
Join us at the Shop by Potters Union for a fun, hands-on pottery workshop designed for children ages 7–12.
In this 2 hour workshop, children will learn how to make their own pumpkin using the pinch pot technique. They’ll also have the chance to decorate their pumpkin with underglaze, creating a colorful piece to celebrate the fall season.
This one-time workshop is a great way to try pottery and see if your child enjoys working with clay before signing up for our 4-week Little Potters Series. Parents are welcome to stay and observe or participate alongside their child. No previous pottery experience is needed.
Your child’s finished pumpkin will be fired at our studio and will be ready for pickup approximately 2 weeks after the workshop.
Please disregard the self-glazing option. Children will be able to glaze their pumpkin with underglaze during the workshop.
