Wheel 101: Intro to Pottery Wheel Throwing

Join us for a 2.5-hour hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the essentials of wheel throwing in a fun and supportive studio setting. Perfect for beginners, this class covers foundational techniques like centering, pulling, and shaping clay on the wheel. You’ll get messy, creative, and walk away with a deeper appreciation for the craft.

All materials, tools, bisque firing, and glaze firing are included. Each participant may keep up to two bowls made during the Wheel 101 class to bring home once they’re fired. Bowls are instructor-glazed, and you’ll be able to choose from our studio glaze options. If you’d like to return and glaze the pieces yourself, you can book an additional self-glazing session for $20 upon checkout. Participants will have 10 days after being notified that their pieces have been bisque fired to return and glaze them.

Just bring your curiosity and clothes you don’t mind getting muddy.
